From the Royals winning the world series to the rejuvenation and swag-ification of Downtown, Kansas City is booming. Luckily, the coffee scene over the past few years has been upgraded too. Check out the 5 best coffee spots in my hometown below:
Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters in Crossroads – In my opinion, the best coffee shop in all of Kansas City. From their rooftop patio to their full bar, Thou Mayest is the perfect place to sketch away or catch up with a friend.
The Roasterie in Downtown – You can’t talk about coffee in Kansas City without bringing up The Roasterie. Sign up for a free factory tour when you have an hour and learn how to use a french press at home.
Brew Gallery in Lenexa – After finding this spot through Instagram a few weeks back, it did not disappoint. From their sleek espresso machine to their #postitfortheaesthetic vibes, this place rocks.
Blip Coffee in West Bottoms – Located right next to the haunted houses by the train tracks, Blip makes a mean cup of coffee. Don’t plan on hanging out due to their limited seating, but it’s a great place to swing by before checking out the rest of West Bottoms on First Fridays.
